This redesign involved enhancing various key pages, including the Homepage, Category Landing Page (CLP), Product Detail Page (PDP), Product Listing Page (PLP), and checkout process, among others.

Introduction

I spearheaded a redesign initiative for Tryano's Product Detail Page (PDP), leveraging data insights provided by the client. Recognizing usability challenges such as navigation difficulties and lack of visual appeal, I prioritized enhancing user experience. Through modernization and strategic design adjustments, including improved information hierarchy and streamlined navigation, I aimed to align the PDP with Tryano's brand identity while ensuring seamless progression through the shopping journey.

In my role as a senior UX/UI designer at Tryano, I had the incredible opportunity to take charge of redesigning the checkout journey. This was a critical aspect of the user experience, and I was determined to make the process as seamless and user-friendly as possible.

To start off, I delved deep into user research. I wanted to know exactly how our customers felt about the checkout process and what issues they were facing. Through user interviews, surveys, and analyzing user behavior, I gained valuable insights that shaped my approach.

With a clear vision in mind, I set out to establish key objectives for the redesign. These objectives were all about creating a smoother experience for our customers and improving conversion rates. I wanted to make sure that users didn't abandon their carts due to frustration during checkout.

One of the major changes I made was streamlining the checkout steps. I broke down the process into clear, bite-sized chunks, making it easier for users to follow along and understand where they were in the journey. Each step was designed to be straightforward and intuitive, reducing any confusion that might have previously deterred users.

Another crucial aspect of the redesign was addressing mobile users. I recognized the increasing trend of mobile shopping and ensured that the new checkout journey was fully responsive and functional on a variety of devices. Nobody likes to struggle through a clunky mobile checkout, and I was committed to providing a smooth experience across the board.

I paid special attention to the visual design as well. I wanted the checkout journey to be visually appealing and instill a sense of trust. Clear typography, soothing colors, and an uncluttered layout were all part of my design choices to make the process not only easy to follow but also aesthetically pleasing.

Collaboration was key throughout the project. I worked closely with the development team to ensure that my design concepts were accurately translated into the final implementation. Regular feedback loops and iterations were crucial to iron out any kinks and ensure a seamless user experience.

Of course, testing was a pivotal phase. I conducted usability testing with real users to observe their interactions and gather feedback. This hands-on approach allowed me to identify pain points and make necessary adjustments before the final launch.

The outcome was truly rewarding. The redesigned checkout journey led to a significant reduction in cart abandonment rates and an uptick in completed purchases. Users found the new process more intuitive, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

In conclusion, my work as a senior UX/UI designer on the Tryano checkout journey redesign was all about aligning user needs with design innovation. By simplifying steps, enhancing mobile experience, and incorporating user feedback, I succeeded in creating a checkout journey that not only looks good but also gets results.
